The Keeper adventure began a few months prior to the publication of Issue One in the Summer of 2002 as we began looking for advertisers, bands and concerts to cover and folks to contribute reviews and content. We borrowed someone’s pickup truck to drive out to the printer and load a pallette of 10,000 magazines into the back listening to the newest Cattle Decapitation and some At The Gates.
