Keeper Magazine

Issue Eight was created during the Summer of 2003 which was about one year since we began doing Keeper Magazine. This was also the summer where I took my first upper division graphic design course at Cal State Fullerton and was incredibly inspired and excited about doing this issue–I think you can see that excitement in these page designs. The Arch Enemy interview is especially standing out to me and you can see how much more scanned textures and hand-drawn or tactile elements I started adding in this issue. Our coverage continues to expand with more coverage of the Hard Core scene and bands from Erick Pressman along with one of Kerri Lynn DeHart’s best interviews of the Keeper run with Opeth. (There was a page order error in the printed magazine with the Hellfest 2k3 coverage that I’ve corrected in this web version.)
